I KNOW NOW

'What a day' is the only phrase that can sum up what happened to me last Friday. After the softball team practices it is my job to drag the Field, so i do that and to be honest I really enjoy it. Some days I take longer than others depending on how much homework I have, if there are people still there and what I feel like at the time. Well Friday i was feeling good I had all the time in the world and was in no rush at all. So I drag the Field and take my sweet time, go over it a couple of times- it looks good and I feel accomplished(really that's all it takes). I head to put the drag machine back in its rightful place- the shed. . .when all of the sudden it dies, stops right there in the middle of no where!!!! First thought- CRAP its my first week and I just broke the drag!!! Second thought well, maybe its just out of gas- check it out- yep so empty you can see the bottom of the gas tank. Well all the gas cans were empty, I tried to push it myself- no luck. Just then the bus drops some kids off, one of them is in my chemistry class, he is nice enough to stop, he could probably tell i was in need of help. We start to push this thing that weighs a ton, literally, up a slight incline to the shed. Luckily for us a kid that drives the campus bus stops and helps us the rest of the weigh. . ..OH MY GOODNESS!!!! What a hassle, I feel so lucky to have been able to move after pushing that thing. I'm so very grateful for those two guys that were nice enough to stop and help a girl out!!!!!!

Advice from dad given a little late, but hey at least I know now- 3 things you check before run anything like that: 1- GAS 2- OIL 3- Tire Pressure. Thanks dad, I will never not do that!!!!

LOST & FOUND

I had a tragic loss the other day or night whatever floats your boat. I was getting ready for bed and I decided that i needed to floss. . .so i was doing that. . .we should stop here to clarify a few things: 1- I have fake teeth 2- in may i thought one of them was loose, went to the dentist he said it was fine- okay i can handle that 3- July Carmel apple sucker stuck to the roof of my mouth pulled it out oops feels a lil loose. . . that brings us to Tuesday night 11:20 flossing being really careful around said tooth- tooth flys out into sink. OH CRAP!!!!! grab tooth, grab tooth. . .okay have tooth few, only bad news tooth is out of my mouth!!! I lost a tooth, good news i got it fixed the next day, phew thank-you doctor Bolton!!!!!!!

In other news, school is picking up, I have three test next week and one this Friday, wahoo!!!!! I love being busy cause when i'm busy i get more things done!!!!!

Empty

Well today is Friday. . .i know shocking like you didn't already know that!! If your normal friday is the day of the week that you look froward too, you count down to it, you even have a 'hump' day to mark the half way mark. . .but me, well this is where my trouble starts. . .i don't have any plans. . .yes I love the weekends but sometimes just sometimes i wonder what everybody does where everybody goes. . .have you ever been on a campus on the weekend???? Example, right now i'm sitting in the library which is usually fairly crowded at 3:30 in the afternoon, but today, friday. . .its look mighty barrin. . where do all the people go??

On another note, its getting cool up here- not the 'cool man' but the temperature cool. Yesterday was the first day all year( yes i know its only the second week of school) that I wore gym shorts to class and it just so happened to be the coldest day of the year, no joke!!! Its okay though cause I like to wear jackets!!!

WHEW!!!

Oh man so much has happened since my last post I feel a little overwhelmed with where to start this post. . . .

First off congrats to my lovely brother and his wife, they were sealed for time and all eternity on Aug 12, 2010, I'm really happy for them.

Then my beloved Jack Johnson came to town, oh how I wish he was not married so I could be married to him and listen to him serenade me every day!!!! Oh well, at least I can listen to him on my ipod!!

Finally the big event in my life. . . moving up to Logan to go to school at Utah State!!!! What a bug change this brought into my life: 1) Moving out of my comfortable life in West Valley 2) Not playing softball and 3) Really starting out on a new life, not really knowing anybody having to make new friends and going to school at a University, not a community college.

These are all big events that change lives(yes Jack Johnson changes lives), and I am so happy that I have been able to experience them. I hope that I will be able to continue on loving life and meeting new people.

Change is good, even though it might seem hard, it's a really good thing!!
